When I was a teen I worried about how much of my life I was forgetting, so having a camera helped me to remember at least some of the moments. Like a little Time Capsule to myself. These days, taking photos is more about a way to be a little creative, to curate photos and videos in a way that aesthetically pleases me. Its population is about 1700 people. It is where the famous Love Walk (Via Dellโ€™Amore) begins (or ends, depending on where are you going or coming from), but I shall tell about it a bit later. Riomaggiore is also famous for its wine. Well, actually, it can be said about all the five towns. There are no luxurious hotels and huge restaurants. It is the place with its own rules and laws. The best way to get to Riomaggiore is by train. From most major cities in Italy youโ€™d travel to La Spezia, where you may have to transfer to a slower local train. I took the bus to Digana, and from there, I took a tuk for about 10 minutes, which brought me to a spot where I could walk to Bambaragala Purana Rajamaha Viharaya. For the hike up is a guide available at the temple but I took the hike up the rock by myself. Along the way up, you will find 2 caves with some other interesting findings.
